Want To Heal Yourself and Others? - Step Into This Truth of the Word!

John 14 23Today, I want to charge right into a religious demon.

Yep, I’m pretty much over small talk at this point in my life *grin*. I want to talk about REAL things that TRULY matter.

I’m in a new and significant learning curve. Six months ago, Father took me through the entire Bible and revealed the truth (and the lies) about the end times passages. It was one of the most revelatory seasons of my life. I have such peace about the end of the age, the rapture, the church and this world. Thank you, Lord.

Today, I want to challenge what I believe the church in general, believes about the Presence of God. And this is without condemnation. But here it is:

Scripture teaches:

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. ROMANS 8:9-10

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. JOHN 14:23

To whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. COLOSSIANS 1:27

Okay, I’m mostly talking to myself now, but I’ve been captive to an error mindset. I know that in seasons past, I would pray things like, “Jesus, please show up. Jesus, bring Your Presence. Lord, I need you to come to me and show me what to do next. Jesus, where are you?”

Also, I’ve participated and joyfully sang worship lyrics that are calling for Jesus, and/or The Presence to “come down.”

Now, I’m not placing any condemnation upon myself or anyone else that has prayed or sang similarly. Yet, the Lord is revealing a deception to me that I didn’t understand prior to now.

Here it is: Christ LIVES in me.

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” GALATIANS 2:20

Now I know we all have read this passage many times, but do we TRULY believe it? Because when you begin to truly catch the revelation of this truth…… IT CHANGES EVERYTHING!

We ALWAYS have God in us. Christ dwells in us. The Holy Spirit lives IN us. Father is in us because Christ and the Father are one. We are one together with Christ.

Wow wee!

Now take a minute to think this through. When we truly BELIEVE the Word of God and begin to comprehend that God is in us, and we don’t need to wait for Him to show up to bring healing, wisdom, salvations, help, and rescue, blessings, etc……, we arise to a new level of power and authority in Christ.

This means…..

RIGHT NOW: I am healed, in Jesus name.

RIGHT NOW: I am free of addictions, fear, anxiety, and small living.

RIGHT NOW: I have access to the Father’s provision because He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

RIGHT NOW: I AM FREE from demonic oppression, petty friendships, stupid concerns of this earth, and what others think about me.

RIGHT NOW: I’m free to live authentically and wholly as created by God.

This also means……

RIGHT NOW: I carry the Son of the Living God within. The weight of this fathomless truth pushes me to greater honor, respect, and reverence.

RIGHT Now: My selfish and petty desires are insignificant to the lavish riches of my inheritance and the blessings that are mine, right now, on earth as it is in heaven.

RIGHT NOW: Humility and worship empower my prayers to lead others into freedom and truth.

RIGHT NOW: I feel coursing through my body, the potential of the untapped power source as well as the preeminent authority I carry as a daughter of Yahweh!

RIGHT NOW: Absolute devotion and surrender are the only response!

My friends, something is happening. I can feel the God of the ages alive in me. I want to rush to Walmart and pray for everyone strolling the produce isle. I want to meet the postman at the door and ask to lay hands on him. I am compelled to stop living in lazy comfort and to bring Christ into every interaction, all my days and night, into my church, my family, all my conversations and to become what Christ has promised to those who believe:

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become (powerful and authoritative) children of God— JOHN 1:12

I DON’T NEED TO CALL God to come down. I will no longer wait until I feel His manifest Presence because He is alive in me. All. The. Time. Forever.

When we begin to truly walk in this reality, we will start to live like Christ Jesus. And that is what our original design demands. As a result of living fully in this reality of these promises and truths, we will….

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. MATTHEW 10:8

Next time you find yourself signing a song asking for God to come down, smile to yourself and call to your mind, “Christ is in me. He is already here. I carry Him with me, so what do I have to fear.”

Next Post: Difference between abiding presence and the manifest presence of God.

Okay, thoughts? See you in the comments. I love you. Walk TALL! Christ LIVES IN YOU! Hugs, Lynn

Is it possible to place a demand upon faith? Are we able to reach out for Jesus as the woman in our story did and receive healing?

Let’s unpack this today, shall we?

I’m sure you already know the answers to these questions. But how do we actually go about placing a demand upon our faith in a practical sense. You know I’m all about the practical. Tell me how….

Remember I shared in earlier posts that this woman was desperate? Well, that is how I would describe the mindset of those who are in absolute belief. Walking with Jesus and reading the Word is how our mind is transformed.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. —Romans 12:2

When we begin to BELIEVE the Word and choose to reject the lies and the liar, that process loosens the grip of the devils. And as we learn to take thoughts captive to Christ, we then dictate our thoughts, our belief systems, our truth.

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. — 2 Corinthians 10:5

The process is different for every person. Some people languish in the world’s thought patterns and others seem to jump right in. Now I will also say here, sometimes Jesus does whatever He wants. He heals people instantly, He heals alongside physicians, He will heal through a process.

My experience is that He mostly heals through a process because Jesus wants me to learn a number of lessons along the way.

The lessons:

  • Developing my faith and intimacy with the Healer.
  • Grabbing with a tight grip and in full faith to scriptures. Looking up passages. Listening to them on YouTube at night. Reading them, praying them, reciting them. BELIEVING THEM.
Leaning to pray with faith. This is learning to issue decrees, edits and engaging the angelic realm
  • Learning what demon I might be up against and how to bind it.
  • What my responsibility is in the natural. Healthy eating, physician treatment after praying for revelation.

So much of my supernatural healings, and there have been a number of them, involved a process which contained different lessons. These are just a few that rattled off the top of my head.

Receiving healing is possible. I think on Monday, I’ll pop a video in here and share a few of my supernatural healing stories. And one that wasn’t.

BTW, one of the most powerful tools of the Kingdom is TESTIMONY. My testimony, the testimony of others, becomes a springboard that can launch you into the same experience. THAT’s how we build our faith.

The disciples watched Jesus. This built their faith. He sent them out two by two and they began to do the same as Jesus. And their faith became so powerful for a few of them that we find this miraculous account in the Word:

The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. —Acts 5: 12-15

THIS is what is available to those who believe!  Hallelujah! Love and hugs, Lynn

And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” — Mark 9:23 ESV

Kingdom Life

Jesus Heals The Woman’s body AND Her Soul

Jesus Heals Kingdom Life LynndonovanIn this series on healing the soul, we are currently unpacking the story in Luke 8 about the woman with the issue of blood.

43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.
45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.
When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.”
46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”
47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” —Luke 8:43-48

In my previous posts I’ve unpacked this story as a likely soul wound. I’ll repeat: What I’ve come to learn through my healing and deliverance ministry is that most of the time (not always) people who suffer with a long debilitating illness that physicians struggle to diagnose, that illness is often (not always) rooted in an unhealed soul wound. Take a look at verse 43.

My friends, we were NOT made for trauma. Trauma is entirely created by the demonic realm to create pain in our spirit, soul and body. The enemy creates traumatic events to open a soul wound and to establish that wound in a lie. This way the demonic can take up oppression and exert control and manipulation over an individual or animal.

A soul wound occurs when we experience trauma. This wound will remain in the soul until it is healed by the truth, love and the blood of Jesus Christ. I often pray with people who are carrying soul wounds from when they were very small children. These wounds continue to affect their lives and relationship well into adulthood until they are touched and healed through counseling, prayer and best of all, prayer and counseling when it’s severe trauma.

Reading this woman’s story in the Luke looks very much like an unhealed trauma wound. Thus her 12 years of suffering and the physician’s confusion and lack of effective treatments. But what I love about this story is her determination to seek healing, to touch the Healer. When she reached for Jesus her soul was healed and her body at the same time. I think this happened because she had listened to Jesus teachings. She believed who He said He was. And it was love that sealed the deal.

Love and the blood of Jesus HEALS…. The soul, the body, a marriage, a city…..

It’s utterly astonishing that her reaching out and touching the fringe of Jesus’ garment, put a demand upon the healing power within Him.

Whoa!!!!

What is that all about???? It’s a faith demand. Her faith. His willingness.

So my friends, the question for this week. How do we possess her kind of faith that places a demand upon the healing power of Jesus? Is it possible? How does Jesus respond?

Oh, so many more fun questions to unpack. I LOVE studying the Trinity. Stay tuned. We are just getting started.

I bless you today with Divine health. I bless you to KNOW you are worthy of a healing touch from our Savior. I bless you to sit with the Lord and ask Him what trauma wounds exist within and to reveal His healing. In Jesus name. AMEN\

I love you my friends, Lynn

Jesus, Our Healer - Part I

Kingdom LifeJesus, our healer

Right now we are discovering the many aspects of Kingdom life and specifically looking at the Trinity. Today, we are going to try to unpack healing. Tackling this topic of Jesus, as the healer is actually complex. And there are many different aspects and components that go into healing. But what I do know for certain is that Jesus heals. And His primary ministry was that of healing.

Healing can mean many different things to different people. I want to take a look at what the Word teaches about physical healing. And I want to confront some ideologies that keep people from their healing. I’ll admit that I don’t know everything about Kingdom healing, but I know enough to pray for healing over myself and receive it and I pray for others for their healing.

I think the first thing we need to confront is the Spirit of Unbelief. We must embrace what the Word and Jesus models about healing of the physical body. Let’s begin at the beginning.

“If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” —Exodus 15:26

Healing was made available from our Father God. I love this passage in Exodus. And God has never changed. He desires, and hear me now, greatly desires to heal. Heal people, animals, nature, and heal hearts, souls, minds and all things that are misfunctioning or broken.

What I love is that Jesus demonstrates and provides and example for us to follow. What is interesting is that Jesus doesn’t use a formula and His healings occur differently. This is reflective of His total dependence and intimacy with the Father. Who is the ultimate healer.

So how do we access the healing of Jesus through the Holy Spirit. How do we engage the spiritual realm and healing angels to bring about physical healing? I think I want to unpack or share what I know and understand with the hope that it develops other’s faith for healing. So, let’s start with the different aspects of healing.

Illness in the body occurs due to a number of issues. Today, I want to focus on the spiritual component of illness. I’ll share a personal experience to help give a perspective. My Grandmother was terribly crippled in her hands, in her golden years, by painful arthritis. Interestingly, it skipped my mother but about two years ago, I began to feel pain in my joints in my hands. In fact, I went to the doctor and he confirmed early onset of arthritis and that there is basically nothing he can do to prevent it.

Well, I can tell you I absolutely WOULD NOT settle for that answer. I began to pray with all the authority I possess and with BELIEF that this infirmity that my grandmother agreed with, WAS NOT MINE. I refused it. I commanded it away. I applied the blood. I broke all illegal agreements with the demonic realm over this illness and blessed my hands daily with health and healing. IN JESUS NAME. Always, in my Savior’s name.

Do you know today that my hands are pain free and what damage that had been done by the swelling, now has reversed?

This is why. 1) I believed. Simple and undoubting faith made a way. 2) I commanded the devil to leave me, my hands, and to destroy all legal grounds he was holding within my family bloodline. 3) I blessed my hands with health and healing. I blessed and continue to bless my body with divine health. 4) I told the spiritual realm that Jesus is my healer and He ALREADY paid the price, and it was very costly, for my complete healing, thus it was going to happen. I did not relent until I began to see changes weeks even months later 5) I thank. I continually, even now, give thanks to Jesus for healing my hands from arthritis. After all, I still have a bunch of writing to do in the years ahead and I need my hands to be pain-free.

I would also quote verses of healing to the devil. I would listen to healing scriptures at night before bed. I still do that often. I looked up every verse in the Bible about healing and I would claim them as mine.

Okay, so this is one aspect of healing where I had to confront the demonic who was creating this infirmity. We will discuss others in the days ahead.

What is your story? Have you been healed by the Healer? How? Share and give Him honor. See you in the comments. I love you Warrior! March on! Hugs, Lynn

Who Is The Trinity? Kingdom Life Series with Lynn Donovan

Kingdom LifeThe Trinity

I’ve come to realize that a great number of God’s people struggle to truly understand the Trinity. And I’ll be honest, for many years, I was one of them. It blew my mind to consider God as three people. I mean, come on, how is that possible. So, for the next several posts I want to unpack the Trinity.

Our highest and best life is that of intimacy with God. Without understanding the different aspects of the Trinity, it’s impossible to live in intimacy and trust with God. I’ll also be up front here. I don’t have everything figured out. I’m of the opinion we never will. We will always be discovering new characteristics of the Lord for all eternity. That truth excites me. How about you?

I’m going to share my understanding and perceptions of the Triune God. My observations are based upon the Word and my experience. I admit up front, how I view the Trinity will differ from you and others. Remember, I’m still learning. Yet, what I do know is absolutely amazing and if I’m able to help one other person to gain understanding and lead them closer to God, then I’m going to share what I know.

Let’s get started.

The Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God on earth came to the church as a gift from Jesus as He ascended into heaven.

If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. —John 14:15-18 (NKJV)

The Holy spirit is the abiding Spirit of the Living God who dwells upon the earth to point the sons and daughters of God continually to Jesus.

The Holy Spirit has many functions. And let me be forthwith, I’m still discovering aspects of the Holy Spirit so I may not have a full understanding of every aspect of the Spirit, but this is what I do know. The Holy Spirit is a comforter. Read this passage:

But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. — John 14:26 (AMP)

There are times when we are in sorrow, fear, uncertainty and asking the Holy Spirit to come and be present allows the Lord to offer us strength, counsel, to comfort, to advocate and intercede for us. In this passage Jesus instructs that the Holy Spirit is His representation. The Holy Spirit also teaches and aids us to remember and learn how to live out what we are discovering in the Bible.

Wow!

And although I know the Holy Spirit is my comforter and encourager to seek Jesus, the Spirit is also my empowerment and my spiritual might.

“But you shall receive power (“dunamis”) - ability, efficiency and might - when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends - the very bounds - of the earth” (Acts 1:8, AMP.)

The Greek word Dunamis, meaning power, is where we derive our English word, dynamite. I truly see the Holy Spirit as the power source behind my prayers. This is clearly evident as I come into agreement with God’s will and am praying in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Also, I’m convinced that successful deliverance ministry and supernatural healing occurs through our partnership with the Holy Spirit. (I also believe the angelic assist in this as well.)

The Holy Spirit is our constant earthly contact that is available for us to lean into. The Spirit will always point us toward Jesus. He will remind us our power and authority that is available because of Jesus and our blood covenant with Him.

The Holy Spirit offers a plethora of gifts (Galatians 5:22). And our God is not stingy, we are able to walk in any gifting of the Kingdom as long as we are willing to do the hard work and learn to steward that gift in a mature manner in order that we won’t harm ourselves or others.

The Spirit also offers a unique prayer language (1 Corinthians 14). Of which, I’m still unpacking all the aspects of what occurs when we speak in tongues. I’m of the opinion we barely understand the depth of power and position we have available to us when we unlock that gift from our Lord God, Holy Spirit.

Okay, I’ve run long in this post. Next post, Jesus.

What are other verses in the Word that describe what is available to us through the Holy Spirit. What aspects of the Spirit do you relate easily to, what’s difficult?

I have an activation for you this week. Each day this week when you begin your quiet time with God, I want you to start by welcoming the Holy Spirit. Say aloud, “You are welcome here Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit come and speak to me.” Speak in tongues if you are able. Give it a good 15-30 minutes. Watch how the atmosphere will shift. And when it does, ask the Lord questions.

This morning I received such a profound revelation about souls and the devil. It was wild.

Okay, see you in the comments. Love you my Freedom Marching friends. Let’s keep marching. There is a broken and lost world that is desperate to me the sons and daughters of God. Hugs, Lynn
