Pursuance of His Presence

Pursuit of Presence - Everyday Practices To Experiential and Supernatural Faith.

Pursuit Of PresenceHello, a few days ago during my prayer time, I felt as though the Holy Spirit was asking me to step into a new season of ministry. God began to show me how, through the years, I’ve experienced growth in my faith life. I also began to recall the years and lessons that have led me to one purpose for my life:

The Pursuit of His Presence

I am now nearing an age in life where my children are grown and my faith is maturing. The Lord spoke to my heart, “Lynn, it’s time to see yourself as a mother.”

Wow, interesting. The Holy Spirit then led me to understand how so many people, many believers, feel as though they didn’t have a strong spiritual mother or father. That they lacked spiritual training, prayer covering and love that comes from a mom or dad. So, the Lord has called me to step into this place, as a mother in the body of Christ.

I do this with great hesitation and completely leaning on the Lord. I assure you that I am far from having everything figured out about God and faith. I still fail. I fall down. I disappoint myself and I wrangle with sin. Yet, I have learned so much about how to live in the Presence of God. Every day. I have discovered freedom, Open Heavens, discernment, wisdom, peace, joy and righteousness. I have discovered how to defeat the demonic and to rise above betrayal, emotional pain and physical pain.

I’m convinced that I am to simply share my stories and experiences in order to encourage, train and equip others on the path behind me. It is my greatest hope that through my victories and learning via my mistakes that others will not make damaging detours from God’s plan but will instead step fully into His divine identity and calling for life on earth.

Will you join me? Will you walk through this recap and share your own wisdom with me? Will you share with others, who one day, stop here to learn how to live the John 10:10 promise?

So, the next series of posts will cover what I call, “The Practices of Vibrant Faith.” These are some common faith experiences and practices that have led me closer to the heart of God.

But before we get to those, I think we should consider, why. And, what is the reward, the benefit the take away for a human being to pursue God’s Presence? What does it mean or look, feel like to attain the Presence of God. What is ordinary living with and/or without the Presence of God?

So, next post, I will share the answers to these questions. Today, please share with me, why do you pursue God?

In His mercy and love, Lynn
