In The In-between... A Rare and Holy Moment

The Inbetween We Are in the In-between

It’s likely you have read or heard me speak about the Jewish holidays and specifically, Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

I want to take a minute to remind you to be observant in this in-between week. I’ve found that decade after decade many things will come to an end or close out in the month of September leading up to Rosh Hashana. Then in October new relationships, adventures and holy assignments arrive that I’m to participate and further for the next 12 months.

This is why.

The Holidays were God’s idea. He instituted them and they aren’t any less valid to Him today than the first time they were observed thousands of years ago.

Rosh Hashana is the start of the Jewish calendar, New Year. That was Sunday here in the United States. Yom Kippur, a most holy day, is Tuesday, October 4th, here in America. We are in this precious in-between period.

Anything is possible!

As I consider how many things happened in my life last year, I’m undone. It was last October (new year) that Mike and I moved from our So Cal home of 22 years and started our new adventure. We didn’t know we would face cancer, home buying challenges, find ourselves actually staying and buying in No Cal. But, as I look back on SO MUCH that happened, I see God in it.

God knew my deepest desires and brought me to a new home I couldn’t even dream up in my wildest dreams. Mike and I stared down cancer and today he is healed and whole. CANCER FREE! I learned I can do hard things. In this past 12 months I received more direct revelation from God than in any other years. And I began this week to receive the chapters of my new book about spiritual gifts.

It’s been three years since this has happened to me.

I have an important question for you: What is closings out of your life? Sometimes it’s a job, a marriage, a relationship, a home, etc. Even things we don’t want to let go. BUT, our good Father ALWAYS has something better ahead. It’s simply His character.

So, in this in-between, I’m praying and expecting BIG THINGS…. REALLY BIG THINGS! Bigger than I’ve ever asked for and I wait expectantly.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, talk to me.

In the comments, tell my what you have noticed that has closed out of your life and what are the really big things you are praying for. Let me be part of this amazing journey of faith.

I will believe with you.

I love you. With a full heart, Lynn Donovan

Key Attribute of the Philadelphia Company

Glorious Church LDMThe letters to the various churches in Asia were written to specific churches that existed after Pentecost. Many of these churches were born out of persecution. And developed through the letters from the Apostles and Paul’s teachings. They are ALSO a prophetic reflection of the churches today. I love the Word of God. There is such depth and layers upon layers of truth.

All of these churches were doing good. Yet, in each one, Jesus found an area of change that was needed, except the Church in Philadelphia. Interesting!

I’m convinced this Fellowship of the Philadelphia Church is born out of persecution. Ugh!

I’m finding that over the past three years so many believers have suffered tremendous opposition. In the past twelve months, opposition, struggle, pain has increased for everyone who is a sold-out believer in Christ. Report after report, the pain, the disappointment, THE UNEXPECTED!

All of the Church is walking through this. Can I get an amen?

I’m in the middle of the wilderness! AGAIN! There are days I ask, “Lord, what?” I mean really. Living with in-laws, Mike’s cancer journey, can’t find a home right now, etc. These are life-altering events. And for us, they happened all at the same time.

I’m not alone. You could share your heartbreaks as well.

BUT, when you step back from the chaos and sit with the Father, there is peace to be found. There is hope. We have a future. AND WE KNOW WHERE WE ARE HEADED.

Imagine with me, there before us is the Lord Jesus. His smile is brilliant and speaks to our heart with acceptance, love, and honor. He has walked through the fire with us. His steady hand at our back throughout the waves of persecution and desperation. He held us when we couldn’t walk. He took our doubt, pain, and fear and spoke beauty, wholehearted love, and a peace that surpasses all understanding.

He is the Head of the Church and reigns NOW and forever! The Philadelphia Company is born out of our desperation.

It’s our desperation that has led to the very hour. Next time, I’ll share more about how desperation is a key in the Kingdom. It will blow your mind.

My friends, today, add your name to the Heavenly Roll Call. Decree today your name is written in the Book of Life and appears upon the Scroll- The Philadelphia Company. In the comments add your name and let’s let all heaven see we are signing up and signing on for our mission in these Days of the Church.

I adore you. Keep Marching. Remain Desperate. See you in the Comments.

Lynn

Donovan Clan Update

Fall in VancouverDonovan Clan Update

My friends, I’ve been living in a whirlwind of crazy business.  But, today as you read this post, I’m nearly finished packing up my Temecula home and preparing to drive next week to our new location in Vancouver, WA.

Say WHAT!!

It was two months ago, today, as of this writing, that we made the decision to move. What most of you don’t know is that exactly two years ago while at the Open Heaven’s Conference. I heard the Lord speak to me. This was nearly audible. Or was it audible?? I can’t be sure.

I heard this: Don’t ever doubt that I am always with you. AND, you are moving.

Whoa.

Two years ago, Mike had been unemployed for months. I was wrangling with the financial strains and moving was NOT EVEN AN OPTION. However, down in my tiny heart was a dream. A tiny desire to return to an area where there is green. I desired to return to the seasons and the greenery of my childhood. And there is something so cool about a Father in heaven that knows the tiny dreams in our heart.

He’s JUST THAT GOOD!

Friends, there is something about the draw of our childhood home. The Bible is filled with so many reference to returning home. To leaving the desert and coming home.

This past week, I toured all over the county, in and around Vancouver. My heart soaked up the green. It reminded me of my home in the mountains of Colorado and Utah where I grew up. I know this is my calling. I have heard the Lord share with me some of my new assignments in my new home. I’m blown away by what He is reveling. And my placement in my new home is strategic.

Meadow Glade And our new home will be a miracle. I’ll explain more on that later.

Friends, I also attended Open Heavens while in the middle of moving. And it was SO GOOD. Below is a quote by one of the speakers. I think it was Papa Bill. Chew on this until I write another update. I love you all so much. Lynn

The most important thought you will have in the morning upon first awakening is the thought about how you see God. This thought is reflective of how you view yourself.

Wow… Just Wow.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. – ROMANS 12:2

Help, I've Been Shaken and Can't Get UP!

25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

—HEBREWS 12:25-28

Hebrews 12 28 Shaking lynndonovan com (2)I’ve read this passage a million times. It’s been on Facebook posts, memes on Instagram, quoted by influencers and included in pastor’s messages. I would read this passage and think, This is awesome. God, I want You to shake things up in this world and shake off anything in me or around me that must be shaken.

Up until recently, I thought of this passage with a delightful expectation. After all, I’m fully aware that there are a lot of situations and also people who need Jesus to firmly grip them on the shoulders and give them a “good shake.”

You?

Ya, but it’s something very different when this passage becomes your life.

I’ve been standing on sinking sand in areas I wasn’t aware. Ugh! It makes me so mad to even make this statement. I’ve done so much work in prayer and practice to step into a life of holiness. Truly. And indeed, I do walk in great power, authority, and maturity. I’m not prideful when I say this. I’ve done years and years of work in obedience to gain the Lord’s trust and favor. HARD WORK! Laboring before God.

Many of you have benefited from prayer sessions because I’ve laid down so much to gain the ears and eyes of Jesus. And I’m so humbled to have prayed with many and be present as Jesus shows up to heal, touch, love, and restore His beloved Bride.

But since January 4th of this year, I’ve walked through the shaking of a life-time. I’ll be transparent and admit that twice I experienced an existential crisis in my faith, my life, and future.

Wow!

There are two things I want to share with you about the last four-five weeks that I’ve learned.

GOD IS ALL WE HAVE!

GOD IS ENOUGH AND HE IS THE ONLY THING RELIABLE.

Although I do believe we are surrounded by people, friends and family, who would rush to our side in our time of need, God is what will sustain you when your entire world falls apart.

Even if you doubt. Even if you go through such wild circumstances that you feel like you are watching your life from above. Even when He wakes you in the middle of the night to explain to you what you need to know or learn. (I’ve had weeks of sleepless nights, ugh! AND God has spoken to me about things I didn’t know, misconceptions, out-right lies I believed, and areas of my life that could be better.)

Secondly, if you haven’t been through a shaking, my friends, God will bring it.

GULP!

Because once all has been shaken, you truly are positioned to pray down principalities and recast the future for millions. I truly believe this.

Are you shaking? I want to be your friend. If your life has shaken apart, I’ll be one sole survivor who will assure you that God will show you many things you didn’t know. He will love you and restore that which is of Him. He will never stop loving you. Even when you are mad, sad, glad, confused, and exhausted.

HE IS ALL WE NEED! I truly know this deep within.

Next week I’ll share a few tips to carry when you are toppling in the shaking. They are lifelines.

I love you so much. I have a deeper love for our Father, Jesus and Spirit and for broken people.

I LOVE YOU! In His grace, Lynn

Fall Holy Feasts – What You Can Expect

Oil lamp Bible LD MinistriesFall Holy Feasts – What You Can Expect

Kingdom Marchers,

I’m interrupting this series on the Trinity because we are approaching a point in the year where we should take a moment and recognize God’s hand in our lives.

I’ve taught about the significance of Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur in the past. These holy feasts are markers for the Kingdom of God. They are markers in our lives.

Take an account of your life over the years. Begin to notate what the Lord has close out or remove from in the month of September.

Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish new year. Through my years of experience and taking notice of God’s hand in my life, consistently, year after year, the Lord removes assignments, jobs, relationships, ministry from my life in September.

It’s a literal closing down of one season. I’ve looked through my past and so many significant relationships came to an end in September. Many jobs, assignments and conditions also wind down and close out prior to Rosh Hashanah. Not always are we in favor or happy about what is closed or removed but I find over time, we will gain understanding of God’s purposes in the closures.

And this is why. He’s preparing us for new assignments, blessings and work that begins with Yom Kippur. The Jewish tradition has long been that God takes an account of every person’s life in that 10 days between the two feasts. He’s looking to see what we have completed that has been writing in our book (Psalm 139:16). And if we are off course, He will likely close out things that need to go.

BECAUSE the new is on the horizon.

October releases the new assignments for the next year. It’s a time of encounter and glory. Remember that it was October 12, 2012 that my life changed forever when I encountered the love of God in a tangible way. Every year something amazing happens in October. I expect this year to be the same….

I expect it for me….. AND FOR YEAR. So ask. So seek… So knock…

Let me ask you, what is God removing from your life this year? Then be prepared for the “NEW” because it’s ahead. Then in November prepare for the spiritual warfare because the devil will apply all his efforts to destroy what God has released.

I stand with you. The year ahead is all up to us. Do you want peace in our world? Do you want justice to reign in our governments? Do you want love and honor to lead our children? We are the carriers of truth and hope.

The year ahead is all up to us. Live in hope and don’t ever, never give into fear or defeat.

Being a believer in Jesus Christ is the BEST and HIGHEST life on this planet. We are so richly blessed to be chosen. Walk like the son and daughter you are and bring heaven to earth.

This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month you must deny yourselves and not do any work—whether native-born or a foreigner residing among you— because on this day atonement will be made for you, to cleanse you. Then, before the Lord, you will be clean from all your sins. – Leviticus 16:29

Shalom, Lynn
