In fighting against the tide of the demonic there is nothing more powerful than our words.

The tongue has the power of life and death —Proverbs 18:21a

I literally believe this. So I speak two kinds of words. Words of life - faith, belief, affirmation and truth from the Word of God over my life and family. And second, I speak words that bind, cancel, blind, silence and cast out the enemy.

If you could walk with me one morning in the vineyards, you would likely think I’m wacked. I pray out loud. I shout, wave my arms, raise my arms and let the Holy Spirit inspired words flow. The spoken Word in prayer wields great power. I tell the devil he is a liar and my God who is in me is greater than he who is in the world.

I will pray something like this:

In the name of Jesus, I command the demonic spirit of fear, confusion, sadness (any others that have been revealed to me by the Holy Spirit) I cast you into the pit. I silence you and you have no voice. I command the warrior angels sent to protect me to take you to the pit and to cut off your head. I have the authority of Jesus, my Savior, to cancel all assignments of the enemy. No weapon formed against me will prosper.

Angels, I have been given authority to trample of the enemy (Psalm 91). This very moment I trample on him and all his works and effects assigned to my life. I command the demonic into the pit along with all their works and effects. This spirit of fear, anxiety, sadness cannot go to my children nor follow any of my family line. I rebuke it and command it to leave me and my family forever. I plead the blood of Christ over my home and my family. In the name of Jesus and by His authority.

Jesus, I ask that you would surround me and my family (I name each one by name) with a hedge of protection. Place your holy angels around us. Prosper me and my family. Protect our hearts, soul and bodies. I ask for more of Your Presence and your anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Let our homes be a place of safety, freedom, love, security, peace and joy. Lord, help me to bring heaven into our home.

Papa God, thank you for your faithfulness (I name several specifics). Thank you for your blessings and your provision. I will live to publish your deeds among the nations. Let everything I do, say and think, be anointed and inspired by the Kingdom. Thank you for Your Word. I believe it. I will proclaim it. I will use it as a powerful sword to bring freedom and healing to people.

Keep me humble and always looking to You. The only thing important in this world is Your Presence. I praise you. I worship you. I will always be loyal to you. I am your daughter. In Jesus name. Amen.

In the past couple of months, I’ve noticed something interesting occurring within Kingdom people. Many of God’s kids, who are growing in their faith, serving and even running ministries are being bombarded by troubles.

Oh trouble, trouble, trouble.
Go away!

WHY?

In our crazy and frantic and busy lives we don’t often contemplate how the enemy would like to destroy us. And how the demonic uses trouble to do so. We are just too busy and slow to recognize that things are running a muck. The car breaks down, our kids are in the midst of enormous struggles, our marriage peace is uneasy, we become ill, and we will drop our perspective. And finally begin to wonder, God, where are you?

Let me share some insight I pray will raise your awareness and compel you to dawn your armor and get back to basics.

Dawn armor of Ephesians 6 and return to the Word and to prayer. It’s always our best offense to be in strong relationship with our Father in heaven, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

This my retelling from a book I’m currently devouring, Defeating Dark Angels, by Charles Kraft. The particular chapter I’m perusing asserts that demons are involved in every kind of disruption. And they target, specifically, believers.

They are intent in destroying and tormenting believers so they don’t pray, doesn’t seek God, so that they will fall away from Him and be like the rest of them (lost)…

The demonic realm is purposeful to work in the mind. They inhabit unclean thoughts and create confusion. The speak falsehoods that throw believers into doubt, fear, anxiety and host of other dark emotions.

However… Tada!!

God in his brilliant rescue gave us the most powerful passage to defeat the demonic realm and specifically strongholds in our lives where they wield influence and power.

It is true, we live in a body of flesh. But we do not fight like people of the world. 4 We do not use those things to fight with that the world uses. We use the things God gives to fight with and they have power. Those things God gives to fight with destroy the strong-places of the devil. 5 We break down every thought and proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God. We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ. —2 Corinthians 10: 3-5

This passage has taken on new life in my world. And a stronghold is being defeated as I take my temptations that – now get this – that begin in my mind. I take them captive and command them to go to Jesus.

Today, I pass along this empowerment through the Word of God. Literally say out loud, “I take that thought captive to Christ.”

The enemy hordes must obey when you remain persistent and consistent over time. And then the disruptions in your life calm as you move further into the atmosphere of heaven; peace, joy and righteousness.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. —Romans 14:17

I release victory over you today and stand in faith with you to be MORE THAN CONQUERORS!!!  Hallelujah.

Hi my friends.

Many of you know that the Lord has been leading me through understanding and practice of Matthew 18:18-19 and the release of blessing. Well in the past several weeks I've been very ill. I've prayed extensively about healing and health.

In my prayer time the Holy Spirit was working to reveal a bodily system that needed healing and to be brought into alignment.

Through my prayer time, the name: Endocrine came to mind. After I Googled this word I discovered that basically this is our hormonal system which regulates just about everything.

During in my prayer time this morning, specifically I heard the Holy Spirit urge me to share my current prayer and ask you to pray it over yourself as well. So let's bless our health this month and specifically our Endocrine system.

Pray: I bless myself with health and I will walk in the health that is mine as a child of God. I bless my Endocrine system to come into complete alignment with the Kingdom. I will walk in health and remain in health. In Jesus name. Thank you Lord for the blessing of health. Hallelujah and AMEN!!!

I’m sure learning a bunch about the Power of Blessing. And also about our authority in Christ. And as I was contemplating this interesting season where the Holy Spirit leaving me to learn, this scripture came clearly to mind.

"Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. ­--- Matthew 18:18

Immediately I realized that I’m in the classroom of binding and loosing.

Can I just say--- Whoa!

So for this post I want to share what I’m learning about loosing and also issue a challenge.

About two months ago I began to bless. I’m mostly compelled to bless the atmosphere of heaven into my life and the lives of others. Read this passage with me:

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, --- Romans 14:17

The atmosphere is not comprised of earthly and physical (eating and drinking) but the Kingdom of God, which is heaven’s atmosphere, is righteousness, peace and joy through the Holy Spirit.

This particular verse became powerful in my life after having a dream where the Lord placed three keys into my hands. But, alas, that’s a story I must share another day.

But it became clear to me that as image bearers of Christ, we are to bring heaven to earth which is the atmosphere of heaven through righteousness (goodness), peace and joy. But I really didn’t understand how to do this well until recently.

I recently began to bless myself, my family, my home and others I meet with joy. I literally will say these words aloud to myself, to others and I pray them.

“I bless myself with joy, in Jesus name.”  I bless my home with joy, in Jesus name.

I speak this blessing over my children in my prayer time and over the phone. I bless you with joy, in Jesus name. I have also released the blessing of peace, the blessing of favor. I have blessed my health, my spouse at his job. I’ve blessed my friends with joy. I’ve blessed the engine in my car. After all, that car carries around a daughter of the King. And, it needs to run well for many more years. (Yep, college tuition). Jesus, bless my car to run well for years, In Your powerful name.

So here’s the challenge: For the next 30 days, bless yourself. Bless your children. Bless your spouse. Bless your home and anything else you feel like blessing. Bless them with joy and then watch as the power of blessing (loosing) becomes alive through the Holy Spirit in your life.
