Thoughts On Power Prayers

Hey Gang,
My friend Jeanne, who has written here before, sent me the following email regarding, Power Prayers. It's good and true.
Lynn, when YOU pray your power prayers, they have power because you know who you are and in whom you have believed.
Someone else just reading them out loud does not necessarily have that. They could end up like the sons of Sceva opening a Pandora’s box. They might learn something from reading them, but it’s not like magic words that are effective if a parrot says them.
People who have a solid foundation and a real relationship will benefit. I would just be careful to distinguish, it’s not prayer itself that has power… it’s the God we pray to.
(And if you’re taking authority over the enemy, that’s not strictly what I would consider prayer, though people call it that.)

Indeed, ALL power in our spoken words of prayer come from our intimacy with God and are birth from truth, the word and our faith. AND when we speak them, the unseen realm perks up and listens and astonishingly obeys.
