I'm excited to share that I am the new Devotions Writer at The Valley News. The Valley Newspaper is a local paper serving the Temecula/Murrieta valley and beyond. It has been in circulation longer than I have lived in the area. Twenty plus years.

It is with deep gratitude and love that I offer the devotions from my prayer time to share with the residents of our beautiful valley. I love my town and the people of faith who live with me, next to me and I pray my words bring hope and the love of God to your heart!

The Climate of Shalom

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
— Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

In this world you will face fear, pain, struggles, trauma and an abundance of difficulties. But, you the chosen one of God, be of great cheer, filled with the Shalom of heaven. Walk every day in supernatural, unexplained joy and peace of the Kingdom! For I have overcome this world of struggle for you. I hold the Key of David and beckon. I open the gates of peace and you are welcomed.

Today surrender your questions of why. Give unto me your need for explanation. Place into my scarred hands your disappointment, offense, fear, failures and broken dreams. Today, for this day, step into the climate of Shalom and truly live in My peace. Receive My love that redeems your heart from the fears of the world. My perfect love casts our all fear, doubt and strife.

It is our Father’s good pleasure to give you the keys to the Kingdom. Step into Shalom and feel My love. My love and joy will empower you to love others with a full heart, free from fear and worry.

Hallelujah!!!!!

Father God, today, I step into your perfect peace. I give you my need to know “why.” I will stand on the faithfulness of your Presence in my life. You said you will never leave me nor forsake me. This is where I choose to live today. I receive Your blessings of perfect peace over my mind, heart, body, will and emotions. I am covered by the blood of Jesus. I choose to walk in Your love and truth. In Jesus name. AMEN

Four one-hour sessions that will push you forward in your faith, marriage and life. Each session is entirely focused on your individual faith-life and circumstances. Expect real, life-changing assignments and new faith practices that will grow your faith and move you into greater awareness and intimacy with the King.
